Asher Williams was born 8/28/1760 Plainfield, Windham Ct., Ct.and lived
there at enl. in Rev. War. Served in Ct., and NY per his Pension application.
After the war he resided in Pittstown, Rensselaer Co., NY for 2 years,
then to Royalton, Vt. for 6 years, then to Montgomery Co., NY. From there
resided in various places and applied for Pension in Depau, St.Lawrence
Co. where he died in 1845. Known children are Silas and David, Sally Cory,
Elvira and Mary Ann.
Could he be a sibling or kin of Daniel Williams b. 1745-1756 place unknown,
who died in 1829 Northampton, Mont.Co. now a part of Fulton Co. He m. Magdalena
Angenberg/Langbergh and served in the Rev. in Mont.Co.
