I am a decendant of Zebedia Buck who married Mary Butters
who's child is Ruth Butters Buck and she married Benjamin Pelsue 6/20/1769 in Wilmington, Mass. I have heard that Ben is the brother of John Pelsue, and know that he is the son of William Pelsue who married Susana Jeffords in 1734, she lived from 1711 - 1770.

Ruth and Ben had a son named George Buck Pelsue, born in Chelmsford, Mass. and died in 1868. George B. married Phoebe Newell. Her parents were Phoebe MacFarland (Parlin) born in Scotland in 1771, and Caleb Newell, married in 1790.

George B. and Phoebe Newell had a son named George Pelsue, born 12/20/1820 Stockholm, NY - died 12/6/1879
Antivery, NY. He married Fanny J. Eldridge, born 12/15/1823 - died 9/30/1896. They had a daughter named Sarah, born 3/29/1847 - died 10/8/1886.

Sarah Pelsue married Gordon Barkley, born
5/3/1845, Williamsburg, Canada - died 6/28/1929, Friendship Township, Mich. They had a daughter named Lois Julia, born 4/15/1876 St Laurence Co, NY.

Gordon Barkley's parents were Abraham Barkley , born 7/2/1806 - died 3/21/1898, and Julia Ann Shufelt, born 12/27/1813 - died 1/23/1883.

Lois Julia Barkley married Seth Bemsle Terpening, born 4/18/1871 - died 10/4/1949 in Harbor Springs, Mich. One of their seven children is my grandmother.

Seth's parents were Bemsle S. Terpening, and Elizabeth Ward.
