Edwards Native Dies, 82 [Florence P Hagen]

Antwerp- Mrs Florence P Hagen, 82, former Antwerp resident, died Feb 16, at her home in Jensen Beach, Fla, after a long illness.

The funeral was held today in Florida.

Her body will be brought to Antwerp Sunday for spring burial in Hillside Cemetery. Committal arrangements are with the Moore Funeral Home, Antwerp.

Survivors include two sons, Louis H Thompson, Jensen Beach, and John B Thompson, Stewart, Fla; a daughter, Miss Marie E Thompson, Long Island; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Mrs Hagen was born in 1890, in Edwards, daughter of James E and Elizabeth Webb Brient. She married Harvey J Thompson in Edwards in 1908. The couple moved to Antwerp in 1918, where Mr Thompson worked for the FX Baumert Cheese Company and the Borden Cheese Company until his death May 8, 1937.

She married Lyons E Hagen March 16, 1957, in Antwerp. He died Jan 2, 1958. Since his death, she lived with her son, Louis.

She was a member of the Antwerp Methodist Church and a 50 year member of the Antwerp Chapter 189, Order of Eastern Stars.
