Rensselaer Falls- Sept. 23-A very large wedding occurred at this place last Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Bertha Johnson, where she was ubited in marriage to W. V. Backus of Star Lake. Only a few close relatives and neighbors of the bride were ??(cannot read) by the Rev. W. H. Jago of the M.E. church. The bride has been a resident of this place for many years and has the respect and esteem of all her acquaintances at this place and its surroundings. Mr. Backus is a real estate dealer and architect and is well and favorably known at Star Lake and at this place. We congratulate Mr. Backus on his good luck in securing so honorable a lady for his companion through life. The best wishes of their many good friends go with them. They will make their home at Star Lake. The bride wore a white silk waist and brown skirt and looked very pretty.
