Hi everyone,
My name is Liz Trombley and I'm doing some research (wow - isn't that a
surprise!) regarding my ancestors. My grandfather and ggrandfather owned a
farm (another surprise!)in St Lawrence Co. According to the 1920 census
Michael O'Connor age 45 had a farm on "Black Lake Road" in Oswegatchie. I
cannot locate this road - can anyone help? Also, although I found my
grandfather (Michael), grandmother (Carrie aka Caroline)and father
(Francis)on the 1920 census (last name indexed as O'Conner instead of
O'Connor) I have not been successful in finding any information on my
ggrandfather (I think he was also Michael O'Connor, but am not sure. He was
born in Ireland).
I recently travelled to Ogdensburg - St Mary's Cemetery - and located my
grandparents graves: Michael John O'Connor b1869 d1953 and Caroline Scott
O'Connor b1886 d1920.
Help, advice, assistance sure would be appreciated.
