George DURGIN b. Jan 25, 1812, Boscawen, NH; d. April 1874 Cleveland, OH. and Louisa MEAD b. Sept 8, 1816 in Montpelier, VT; d. Oct. 10,1884 in Cleveland, OH. were my gggrandparents. Evidently they were in Ogdensburg, NY for a number of years and my ggrandfather was the first born there. Three other children in the family were also born there.

Children of George Durgin and Julia Mead are:
+ 2 I. George Walton3 Durgin, Jr., born 1838 in Ogdenburg, NY; died November 29, 1888 in Wenonah, New Jersey.
3 ii. Joel Langdon Durgin, born December 24, 1839 in Ogdensburg, NY. He married Anna Rapp.
4 iii. Julia Mead Durgin, born November 10, 1841 in Ogdensburg, NY. She married John T. Robinson May 29, 1867.
5 iv. Henry Francis Durgin, born July 1843 in Ogdensburg, NY; died February 1845 in Ogdensburg, NY.

I am trying to get documentation of these dates since all I have is a listing that I guess was copied from a Bible, but I am not sure of that. I guess I am lucky to have this much to go on.
I am interested in tracing where the family lived and moved between birth, marriage and death.

I do not have a marriage date for George and Julia. Julia's maternal roots are definitely in VT but I have no earlier info on George.

Help on anything to do with this family would be wonderful, especially during their time in Ogdensburg.
