Edwards- W. Clark Padgett, 79, Timber Pines Spring Hill, Fla., a native of Edwards, died Thursday at the Evergreen Woods Health Care Center, Spring Hill.
There will be no funeral or calling hours. The body will be cremated. Arrangements are with Turner Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel.
Contributions may be made in his name to the Hernando/Pascoe County Hospice, Spring Hill, Fla. 34606.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth; a son, William, Erieville; a daughter, Jane Kinney, Hohenwals, Tenn., four grandchildren and a brother, Herbert, Spring Hill.
He was born Oct.4, 1911 in Edwards, a son of Weldon P. and Lulu Clark Padgett. He attended Manilus Military Academy, Manilus and Clarkson College of Technology, Potsdam.
Mr. Padgett was a retired executive engineer for Public Service Electric and Gas of New Jersey. He moved to the Spring Hill area from Barefoot Bay, Fla., six years ago.
He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Spring hill.
