If these people lived beyond the mid 1930's they might be found on the social security death index which you can access at www.rootsweb.com (left side of the page). Use the 'advanced' search to narrow down the search. *Also* make the search wider (use less detail), if the advance search shows nothing. The reason I say this is that if you are off a bit on a birth date, death date, etc. you may not find them with a detail search but likely people might pop up with the broader search.
