I am also researching John Youngs and Rose Perry. I only have the same info you do on John's parents. However, I do have some info on descendants if you are interested. Specifically, John and Rose's daugher Lucy Ellen Youngs. She married Archibald Barshaw in 1885 in Bay City, Michigan. The Barshaws were from Canada and had settled in Arenac County (next to Bay County). I have more if you are interested.
What child are you descended from?
I would love to hear more about the Youngs and Perry line.
