I've got 2 Stephen Butterfield. One b.1736 in Wesford, MA, d. abt. 1800. He had 8 kids, among them another Stephen, b. 1772 Wilton, NH, m. Rachel Spaulding 1794 in Reading VT.

Is your Stephen the son of my second one? Or grandchildn.

My Stephen 2 had several children, but only name I have is Sarah, who m. Sylvester Searles in 1822 in Reading Vt.
