Dear John,
thank you so much for answering my querry. I already have all of the information on the Nathan Foster Chapin and his wife Elizabeth.
I am actually looking for that Nathan Foster Chapin's father.
His name was also Nathan Foster Chapin. He most likely would have been born in late 1700's to early 1800's. I believe that he was born in Vermont, as my Nathan Foster Chapin's Bible records state that his father was born in Vermont, as well as the LDS site.
I know from my father that this family lived a great deal of their lives in Olean, New York. However, they traveled around most of the country and lived in many states. Michigan, Ohio, Arkansas, Pennsylvania, California, Oregon, Iowa (my Nathan and Elizabeth married in Iowa), Illinois, and Utah.
Again thank you for the quick reply..and should you be able to discover information on Nathan Sr..please let me know..I have been trying for over 4 years.
Good Luck in your searches!
Stephanie
