Can anyone tell me where to get the records for the Thousand islands for the 1840's? My ancestors the "Dibbles" lived on the Oak Island. Sold some land to a Mr. Wright. I have written documentation as to a hand written letter but thought that maybe a deed would be nicer. And can you tell me if there are any photos of these islands around from the 1800s? I have some but not sure which island is which.Thank you georgia
