Are we talking about the same Oak Island? The one I'm referring to was the largest island on the US side of the St. Lawrence. It was huge and you can't miss it on a map of the area. It's not far from Chippewa Bay. I'll be happy to send a picture of the home - it must have had 15 rooms including servants quarters, including boat house, etc. When I was in the area a couple of years ago, I noticed that the current owners are developing the island and building homes on it.
