Hi,
I hope someone can help me .I am looking for info on my 3rd gr grandfather Nathaniel Thompson born in Irelandin the 1830's.He was living in the town of Dekalb in the 1860 census along with a Daniel Thompson age 70 and a Mary age around 20.There were other Thompsons in the area also .Their names were Charles ,James,William.I believe they all were related.
Nathaniel was married to a Lucy Corbin and had 2 children in the 1870 census. The children's names were Margaret ann age 4 and William age 2 .In the 1880 census Nathaniel,Lucy and Margaret are mentioned along with KAtherine and Mary Etta. There is no mention of William.I descend through Mary who married James Pritty.I have talked with several family members who never heard of Margaret but knew Katherine who married a Blair and resided in Gouverneur. There is no other census after 1880 with Nathaniel and Lucy in them.
Does anyone know how I can find out when they died or where their buried?I have checked cemeteries in Gouverneur,Richville and Dekalb but haven't been able to locate them.
