I have a ggg? grandmother, Eunice Mary Carr, born about 1822 in New York State, married to William F. Allen (b. abt 1813 in NYS). According to Civil War Widow's Pension, they were married on October 1, 1838 by Rev. J.H. Whelpley in Carthage, NY. Children were: Lucy, Catherine, Eulalia, Ann, William T., Laura, Herbert and Alva. William Allen died in about 1875 and Eunice M. (Carr) Allen died about 1899. They are both buried in South Russell Cemetery in St. Lawrence County, NY.

I am trying to learn who the parents of Eunice were. Research leads me to believe that she may have been the daughter of William (b. abt 1786) and Lucy (b. abt 1791) Carr. I have found this family in the 1850 Census of Russell with the following children: Hezekiah, Jedediah, and Eleazer, living next to the Allen family. There is also a Marquis O. Carr, who was born in Vermont who is associated with this family, and a Marquis J. Carr, who was born in Michigan.

If any of these names are familiar to you, or if you have any information that may help me sort out these Carr's, please let me know! Thanks in advance.
