I am looking for some relatives of Ella Towne who may have resided in the Gouverneur area. Her maiden name was either Nettles or Neddles. There were 11 siblings; Tom, Clarence, May/Mable, Florence, Bess and Kate are some of her siblings. All were adopted out after their mother died during Ella's birth. The family is very interested in finding out who fathered their mother, Ella. It was never revealed, but the family is convinced that their is a Native American ancestor somewhere in the family tree. Anyone with any information on Tom or Clarence Nettles?
