2ch = 2 children; (milk) = dairy farmer; WOS= Works on Shares; 84a = 84
acres; rd2= rural delivery (mail) route 2; Massena tn = physically lives in
town of Massena [as opposed to living in a neighboring town, but having a
Massena mailing address]; H10=Highway 10, as keyed on a map that came with
the book [St. Lawrence County Historical Association, Canton, has copies of
the map].
