It depends on the area of St. Lawrence. My grandparents lived in Star Lake. My grandfather was the cook for Benson Mines and my grandmother worked at the paper mill.

What was the industry that drew people to live in St. Lawrence. I found that my relatives worked at a mill there. I'm assuming this is a wood mill.
