I am also a great grandchild of Ebenezer Burrows. My grandmother (Mae Burrows Ingersoll Smith) was Eben's daughter. You can find Eben's obituary at www.news.nnyln.net (Northern New York Historical Newspapers). He died at his daughter's (Celia Burrows Lynch) home in Pulaski, Oswego, NY, but his obituary is under St. Lawrence County news. Newspaper date is Oct 16, 1929. In the search engine for St.Lawrence County, type in, "gouverneur-press-1929-april-1930-September-0255.pdf". His fathers name is Thomas. I have been working on the Burrows family, but have found no information on either Thomas or Matilda.
I have found Eben's brothers, Calvin and Daniel, but nothing for Freelove. If you have any information or need more information let me know. Hope this helps.
