Noah Hamilton 1804-1894 was my gggrandfather his father was George Hamilton 1760-1850.

George was married to Eizabeth Reed. They had another son Isaac Hamilton 1785-1869 who is buried in nearby Russell New York. I know nothing of his family. Thomas might be a Grandchild.

There are quite a few Hamilton's in the Ogdensburg Cemetery

If you haven't been to Anne Cady's St Lawrence Co site, you need to go. It is the very best especially for cemetery listings and pictures.

I am familiar with Ashville as I went to school in Fredonia.

I would also try the Rutland Vermont area histories as that is where the Hamilton's lived until just before 1850. My family seemed to have come in the 1840's to Herman. I am sure if you do a search on Ancestry.com for Noah Hamilton 1804-1894 you can trace the Hamilton line as far as I have it. There is not much on line from Rutland that I could find. I did follow the line of Alexander Hamilton and I found no connection
