Gosh, you brought back memories of listening to the radio after tea, fire
blazing, mum knitting, us reading or playing games and dad smoking or
sleeping, usually both at once. Mum was always knitting without a pattern
she just knew where to make armholes etc. I have to use a pattern, can
draft clothing patterns but cant knit with out one. Have just spent some
hours today drafting summer dress patterns for my nieces baby, forgot how
much fun it was.
Sheets turned into the middle, very uncomfortable. My old ones get turned
into cot sheets, pillowcases, table mats! Towels get turned into
facewashers, bath mats, hand towels or dish rags at the end of life.
Recycling is fun.
