Hi Leila

Newspapers seem to love to feature stories of the oldest resident of the
area, especially when they pass away.
The Public Library in St Marys might have the newspaper on film and might
send a copy of the article to you.

In the 1930's an aunt of my grandmother mentioned in a letter to her that a
relative had died at age 104 in San Bernardino CA. Since my grandmother had
saved all the letters from her aunt and then my mother saved them after my
grandmother died I found them after my Mother died. I took the chance of
writing to the San Bernardino Library and as I suspected there was an
article about this relative on the occasion of his 104th birthday and then
his death. And as he was an early settler in the county I was sent an
abundance of family history information. It's always worth the cost of a
stamp! Good luck to you in your search.
