I've run out of ideas on where to look and hope
someone might have a direction to pursue. Sarah E.
Maxwell m. Hugh Allen (a doctor) who died young.
Family remembrances say they had a child "Maxwell Allen".
In 1880, she and her son "Allen Max" are living with
her mother Jemima Keepers Maxwell who dies 1883. The estate papers of Hugh
Allen don't mention a son, the
birth record says "unnamed Maxwell" and I can't
find any Maxwell Allen in the 1900 Census in the
county nor any death record for Sarah Allen. Can't
find a Maxwell Allen in the 1910 Census OH. What I
need to do is to make certain his name is Maxwell Allen
and try to find him somewhere.
