Looking for family of Eliza J. Johnston b 3-27-1819,
d 12-11-1896 in Clinton, Henry, MO. Eliza J.
Johnston had one daughter, Emma b 9-20-1845 in Marion
(?), OH d 7-13-1933, Norman, Cleveland, OK. Married
in 1867 to Jacob (Jacques) Wolf/f b 10-10-1836 in
Melsheim, France. Jacob served in the Union Army,
American Civil War in Ohio units. Jacob came to the
U.S. in 1854. His citizenship was granted in 1859 in
Bryan, Williams, OH.The 1850 census has a John
Johnston, age 40, grocer, in Port Washington, b in PA.
There is an Eliza J. age 30, b OH, and one child,
Emma age 4, b OH. Surnames possibly related to the
family of Eliza J. Johnston are Bliel/Bleil,
Llewellyn, Gilmer. Surnames possibly related to Jacob
Wolf/f are Krug/Crooks, Foltz, Schmidt, Stinson,
Wingard.
