Hi Jim:

I would be happy if you could look up the 160 acre farm in the 1906 atlas. I
am pretty certain about the family being in Oklahoma before 1881 (when Great
Grandma died) as I have the same story from three separate branches (and
without any contact until now). But, of course, sometimes the important
details as hazy.

The legal descriptions I have for the farm he purchased in 1902 or 03 and the
Hog Ranch & School where Great Grandpa taught in 1901-02 are as follows:

Farm: Section 12 Township 22N of Range llW

Hog Ranch: School District No. 214 Lakeview Range ll & 12 Township 22

I hope this is enough. I am also going to ask the OKMAJOR group if anyone has
any resource for information or picture of the Hog Ranch School.
