I have had a problem with this area and these dates in the Crook county
area also. Wasco was the parent county. You may hAve to c heck several
counties to locate whomever.
My GGGF, Peter ZELL, Buried Juniper Haven, Prineville, died Feb 1882.
He is nowhere to be found in the previous census, but said to have been
living with his son, Abraham. Must have been asleep in the back bedroom.
Too, Do you think the house would not have been sold WITH the property?
WOULD THEY HaVE MOVED IT?
