Quote "As of August 20, 1999, 1,033,854 marriages have been entered into the
statewide database being created by the Illinois State Archives and ISGS. A
total of 84 out of 102 counties are represented in the database. The goal
of the project begun in 1985, is to enter all marriages prior to 1901 for
all Illinois counties.
Data is complete for the following 42 counties: Adams; Bond; Boone;
Calhoun; Carroll; Cass; Christian; DeWitt; DuPage; Edgar; Effingham;
Fayette; Franklin; Greene; Hancock; Henderson; Jackson; Jefferson; Kane;
