Subject: [OSBORNE] Looking for La Fayette "Fate" Osborne Family

A 1900 Clarke County Alabama Census states that my greatgrandfather,
La Fayette "Fate" Osborne was born 25 April 1830/1832 in Mississippi.
his father in Scotland and his mother in Alabama.Who were they and where
were they living, in what county ? La Fayette Osborne married Amanda
Buckalew. She was born in 1841 (headstone reads 1835) . I have reason to
believe that she is the daughter of Jonathon Buckalew and Mary M.
Wilkerson. Amanda died in Clarke County, Al. in 1914. La Fayette died
in 1916 and they are buried in Henley Cemetery, Clarke County, Alabama.
My greatgrandfather enlisted in the Civil War in 1862 5th Rgt. Alabama
Infantry CSA and was wounded at Chancellorville. Will be glad to share.
