Tom O'Shaughnessy still has a pub in Glin. I have visited there 3 times over the years when we have been on the O'Shaughnessy Family Rallies. His father was known as Captain John (now passed away) and I first met him in 1992 and he recognized me some 4 years later when we first visited the pub. There are quite a few O'shaughnessy's in that area. Maybe you can contact some through the telephone directory. The O'shaughnessy names have in some areas around there been transcribed by one of the O'Shaughnessy Society members.
