My reply is a few years too late, but my family tree includes Eugene Scanlan and Honora Flahiff. Eugene had two brothers, Jeremiah (my great-great-great-grandfather) and Thomas, and one sister, Margaret Collins; all settled around the Sandusky County area. Jeremiah (1821-1909) married Catherine (?-1859) and Mary O'Connell (1832-1919) and he had six children (Unnamed Son, Margaret Shanahan, John, Honora Anne McCarthy, Mary Perin, Jerry), most who resided in Clyde, Sandusky County, Ohio. Thomas (1814-1899) married Mary (1839-?) and had nine children (John, Honora Barnhisel, Johanna Reisley, Margaret, Mary, Eugene, Katherine, Helen Eleanor White, Thomas). Margaret (1830-1919) married Patrick Collins (1825-1894) and I know of no children. I hope this will be able to help you.
