My earliest (and only) ;?) known Schenk is Mary ELisabeth Schenk
Fasnacht. I have a bible record (written by her husband btw) that if I
remember right says she was "from" Allentown, though it may she was born
there, I will have to go dig it out. She married John Frederick
Fasnacht on May 18, 1828 in Salem Church in Lebanon and yet she was born
January 28, 1794. Spinster or widow? Anyone else working on Schenks in
these counties and in this time frame?

The Fasnacht clan is now getting a lot of research done on it, but I
know almost nothing about Mary except the above and that she had at
least six children and died in 1873 and is buried in Calhoun, Richland
Co, IL.
