Have you been to your nearest Mormon Church Family History Center???
They have MARVELOUS records available on microfilm from records in
Denmark..You are FAR better off doing most of your research here,
through them, than trying to do it all in Denmark & Germany..You don't
have to be a Mormon & they won't try to make you one...I speak from
years of experience with their great centers.. (Through them I have
photocopies of the microfilmed record of the birth of my grandmother &
her twin sister in Hadersleben in 1872!!!
(She came to San Jose, by the way) Plus I have gotten a LOT more
information from them (more in Denmark than in the area of Germanythat I
am searching for my fathers' familly.
