Hello everyone, I figured it was time I got my feet wet after reading the
posts for a couple weeks. I am new to german genealogy and to this posting
thing but will do my best to get it semi right.
I am researching the following names and locations (I think) They all went
to the Chicago IL area.

EWERT, CARL (?) born about 1838 in Germany and wife Maria Nercke born Jan
6, 1837 in Germany. Married in Germany about 1863 they came to US 1867.

PUENNER/PENNER, Christ Frederick born Oct 28, 1854 in Altona married Geche
Stockfleth in Germany. Geche born Sept 23, 1853 in Neuendorf. Her parents
were Mathias Stockfleth and Elsa Miller. They came to US about 1883 and
Christ had a sister in Germany that he went back to visit.

HAMMERL, Wm C born July 6, 1846 one of nine children of Carl and Louise
Brummer Hammerl in Meeklenburg-Schwerin wife Marie Wagoner/Wachman/Wagner.
Wm came to US in 1868
I found parents names at LDS Library but his name was not among the
children. Is it possible that his name was changed? The birthdate was
right but the name was Joseph Carl Friedrich Hammerl born in Basedow.

SCHRAMM, Franz born March 19, 1840 in Racow Germany wife Ernestine Stielow
born Nov 22, 1835 in Natztaff Germany. Franz was a florist in Park Ridge
IL married 1861 in Germany, came to US in 1882.

MEYER, Hermann and wife Margerette Wilkman both born in Germany.

Think I covered most of it. Thanks in advance for any leads or information.
