I saw your message on the Nielsens today and I am interested to find if
we have any connections. My Grandfather Christian Ludwig Nielson born
Aug 7, 1847 (sometimes spelled Nielsen) immigrated from S-H area in
1869 to San Francisco area and ended up in Stockton, Ca. He returned
after 8 years to S-H and married Frederica Ihle, They then returned to
the US thru New York in 1881. Came to Oakdale, Ca. Purchased a farm
raised 9 children and he died in 1902. I have only started research a
few months ago and have very little information. So I am open to
suggestions.
