Hello List--
This is in regards to the inquiry about
Carstensen. The name appears to be Danish. There are
many Carstens & sens & datters in Maribo Amt in the
DDD, especially 1850. The later years are not
available yet. The Reventlow family imported many
workers and friends from the Slesvig and Holstein
areas to live and work on there many estates on
Lolland and elsewhere. You might try there for
relatives at ddd.sa.dk.
