Fran, Thanks for the quick response, yes, the Kätner, Jochim would be my
ggggrandfather, (I hope I done this right), what you have mentioned ties in
with what I have, and I do have the Holstein, IA Centennial book, and my
great grandfather,Hinrich J.(Henry J.) is in the book. I didn't know there
was a Cushing centennial book , but I will check into it, I am planning on
going to New Ulm, MN this Sunday for the Heritage Fest, and I just might run
down to Cushing. I do have "Stelk/Stelck aus Laboe" literature that Grace
Dietz, Genealogy Director for "ASHHS" helped me with, and it ties in with
what I had also. Is the Probsteier Geschlechterbuch available ? Thank you
Fran and it would be interesting to find out how the Stelk line of your
husband ties in with mine. If there is any thing I might send you on what I have let me know. How long has it been since your husband left Holstein? Lionel
