Dear Group,
Thought I would resubmit a request for info on a Ludwig Essling from Holstein
born circa 1853-55 and immigrated to the US around 1870-1873. Hi family was
from near Hamburg and may have owned a beverage plant. He also was a 32d
degree mason. He may have been listed in the book, The Black Sea Germans in
the Dakota's, by Greg Roth, Pine Hill Press, 1977 p 83.

If this, or for that matter, anyone who knows of an Essling sounds familiar
please let me know, frankly, I yet to meet anyone who is or knows one. We
must have been a small family.
