Hello List -

This is my first venture into German research... I'm looking for my GGG
Grandfather, Charles Agustus MENKE born in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany around
1850s. He married Elizabeth HENRY, also of Germany and the immigrated to the
US before 1878.

Any suggestions as to where I begin?
