Greetings all,
This is Donald, of Kansas, USA the moderator of the S-H-Roots list. I
saw a need for such a list when I found that RootsWeb did not have one.
With very little help from me, I find it to be a great list with a lot
of very willing and helpfull listmembers. They do this because they
have an interest in the area.
RootsWeb has sent all a message that shows where the list guidelines can
be found. I believe that just simple common courtecy is sufficient for
most. Rules are just made to be broken, and if I tried to enforce them
it would open a can of worms about like "Help the Children Spam" did. I
will be in trouble for bringing this up again no doubt.
I don't think that anyone should take anything personal. If my spelling
affends anyone it is because they are not interested in what I have to
say. Who could ever read Doctors or Engineers writing, I sure can't.
Sometimes I can't read my own.
So much for that. I hope all is finding their ancestors.
