Hi, I'm a rookie researching my paternal family roots to S-H. My connection is William H. Knickrehm, migrating from S-H to the US (Bryant, Iowa) in 1883. His parents were Heinrick Knickrehm and Lucy Ruhr. Here is the other information I have about William:
b. December 16, 1858, Schleswig
d.April 17, 1918, Davenport, Iowa
m.April 21, 1891, Louise Clausen, Lyons, Iowa
I have not been able to establish any connections in a very long time. I would be very grateful for any assistance.
