JACOBS, Johann Wilhelm, born 27 May, 1865 in Wesselburen, Deitmarschen, SH.
Parents were Jurgen Hinrich JACOBS, born Wesselburen and Elsabea Heinke
BARTELS, born in Hemmingsted, Deitmarschen, SH. Johann Wilhelm came to
Clinton, Iowa, US about 1880 with mother and 2 twin brothers. Father was
deceased. Later settled in Union County, South Dakota.

HAGGE, Christina, born 20 Nov, 1873 in Rendsberg, SH. Parents were Peter
HAGGE, born 1841 in Alt Duvenstedt, SH, and Christine PLAHN, born 1852 in
Alt Duvenstedt, SH. Peter and Christine married in Rendsberg. Christina came
to Clinton, Iowa, US about 1885 with parents, brothers John HAGGE and Henry
Peter HAGGE and sister Anna HAGGE.

Johann Wilhelm JACOBS and Christina HAGGE were married in Big Spring, Union
County, South Dakota on 11 Nov, 1894.

During trip to Schleswig-Holstein in June, 1998, we acquired considerable
