Are you aware of any rumor from the family about the place your ancestor
may have left?
My experience with the Naturalization records is not encouraging but
give it a try.
I'm guessing that the marriage or death records do not mention a town of
origin. The same for the obit.
Do you have a name for their parents? Do you have a birth year?
Not having all your information it is difficult to advise.
The bottom line is that you have a difficult task to find your ancestor
in Schleswig-Holstein. I do know that the Parish Archives in Rendsburg
has the name Reimers. You could write Parish, see Hans Peter Voss
website for address, asking for a search. This is like a needle in a hay
stack search, but you have nothing to go on.
Don't give up, Hal Kaysen
