Subject: [S-H-RTS] RE: HERALDRY BOOK INDEX

Hi,
Here are the names from the Heraldry book that I
promised to post. In the interest of time I am going
to type them in Caps. I am headed to the Family
History
Library again today.
ARENS, BARTELS (2 FAMILIES), BEYERODT (BEIROTH),
CARSTENS, CLAUSEN (CLASSEN)(2 FAMILIES), DENCKER,
DETHLEFS (DETLEFS), DREESEN, DÜHRSEN, DYRSSEN
(DÜRSEN),
EDENS, ERP (ERBS), FELDT, FRANSSEN (FRANZEN),
FRICCIUS (FRICKE), GLOY (GLÖE, GLÖER), GROTH (2
FAMILIES), HAALCK (HALKENS), HANSEN, HARGENS
(HARRINGS), HARTNACK, HAUPT, HINRICHS (2 FAMILIES),
VON HORSTEN, HORSTMANN (2 FAMILIES), HUESMANN, IBS,
ICKE (ICK), JACOBSEN, JEBENS, JOHANNSEN, JOHANNSSEN,
KARSTENS, KLINCK, KRUSE (2 FAMILIES), LÖBKENS, LOOST,
LOY (LÖH), MAASSEN, MARTENS, MARX (MARXEN), MARXEN,
MUMM (MOMM), NANN (NANNE), OFF (OFFE, OFFT), PAULSEN,
PAULSEN (FRANZEN), PIENING (PIEN), REIMERS (2
FAMILIES), ROLFS (ROLVES), SCHLÖMER, SEEBRANDT,

VOß, WIEBERS, WITT (2 FAMILIES), & WITTHOHN.
In little over a week my husband and I are going on
a trip to Cincinnati area. I told him that we have to
stop in Scribner, Nebraska for me to take a picture of
my great-grandfather, Juergen Hinrich Hargens' grave
and to take one of my great-aunt's. Little Lena was
only two, when she died. Family tradition said that
she was buried at sea, but we found her on the 1885
census that was taken three months after the family's
arrival from Germany. I wish that I could get my
husband to stop longer in Scribner, but I feel lucky
to get this opportunity at all. Needless to say, I
am excited to see this place.
If anyone finds a family name among those, I will
e-mail you some of the information about the family.
Karla Nurnberg
