To Maggie,
The Kirchenkreisbuchamt of Eckernfoerde is open for research on MONDAY
and on THURSDAY. But because of there is only one desc and three chairs,
it is the best if you make a date before your visit.
To get access to the church records you have to fill out a application.
You can do that during your visit.
The most important thing is, that you are be able to read the old German
script ! You can get a little help through Mrs. Woelke, the keeper of
these records, but mostly she can not spent a lot of time to give
reading help.
