Thank you for the generous offer .. I did download the "H" file from the
Holstein Book and there was not any HINK"s on there .. Do you know during what
period of time that this book was made up of ?? As to the years .. I know that they
lived in the area starting in 1880 .. probably moved after the Spring of the year as
my grandfather was baptised in March of 1880 in Walnut, IA ..
You might know Marilyn Dose from Ida Grove .. if so, she is terrific and she has
done some research for me and did a suberb job of it .. Without her - I would have
been at a total loss ..
Thanks again, Fran for offering to help .. but I will have to order the film
from the Hamburg Passenger list and see if there might be the information on it ..
