To Mrs. P. in Canada, if she is a member of this list:
Today I got a message from Mr. Witt (74 years old - not a member of this
list) in Kiel. He is a member of the genealogical society in Kiel, the
"Schleswig Holsteinische Familienforschung e.V. Kiel". Since more than
one year he is working on the transcription of the 1803 census which
shall be online available for free to everyone after the work is done.
He spents very much time for this volunteer work and has a lot of
travell expenses. In my opinion he is a very honourable and friendly
person. Now to his message:
The first time in his life he has done a genealogical research for a
stranger. He researched the family SCHOENING in the church parish Gikau.
He sent the results online as attachement and also the invoice. Since
that time he never got a response to further e-mails and also no payment
until today.
DEAR MRS. P. in Canada: Please contact Mr. Witt !
It will be a great lost for the online community if Mr. Witt is now so
disappointed about one person that he will not continue his volunteer
work. We all can not effort this !

It is selfevident that Mrs. P. is added to the list about persons who
have not paid their bill. This list is built by some SH located
researchers (professional and volunteer and church offices) who had not
get the payment for their work. The names and addresses are given to the
church offices which wanted to have them. So this persons will never get
again a research or look-up in Schleswig Holstein.
