Hello, Susan,
a map scale 1 : 25,000 of SH will probably be large enough to wrap Your home.
Scale 1 : 25,000 is very detailed and shows even single locations. Such a map shows about 11 by 11
kilometres.
If You give me an exact location, I might be able to buy You the right map here in Kiel, SH, where
they are printed. If You do not know the exact place You are looking for, I shall send You a
"Uebersichtsblatt", as You stated in Your mail, that shows the total of SH and its' split-up into
local, detailed maps of that scale. Those maps are identified by a number like 1922 for Schenefeld,
or 1622 for Meggerdorf.

Greetings from Your Holsteiner roots,

Klaus (Struve) in Kiel, SH, capital of it all

(surveying engineer, and genealogical researcher, at Your service)
