Bill,

If you read the FAQ page there are clues to your search. Try
www.familysearch.com site and see if there are any Siebelts from Hanover and
for your grandmother Oldenburg. I would then try to see what film records
are available from the Family History Center. Also search the 1900, 1880 and
1870 US census records.
