Hi Marge,

I have five generations of Kaehlers in Ploen and Dithmarschen beginning with
Claus Kaehler, b. abt. 1695 in Sieversdorf (nr.Preetz), Ploen, Duchy of
Holstein but don't see a connection with those you list. My Kaehlers were
usually close to the Eider river and sometimes worked as sailors or pilots.
How far back does your Kaehler line go?

I have Thedens in Albersdorf, Dithmarschen, Duchy of Holstein and
Burmeisters in Meinsdorf, Ploen, Duchy of Holstein. My Burmeister research
covers runs through the 1700s and 1800s but was never carried into the 1900s
so I don't know if we have a connection.

ANNA CATHARINA VOSS and JOHANN WILHELM CHRISTOPHER
SAMBO, Schlachtergeselle, had a second child, AMALIE
DOROTHEA VOSS (SAMBO) *1853 Heide, first child was
born in Hollingstedt.
