Carol,
I have a connection to a Hammer that was in Nebraska. His
wife was a sister to my grandmother. He is Henry Hammer
son of Frank and Martha Jane Seay Hurley. Henry was born
in Belvedere, NE in 1884, moved with family to Ohiowa, NE.
Married and moved to Idaho, a big potato raiser. His parents
should be buried near Ohiowa or Geneva. I looked at the
two cemeteries in Ohiowa and don't see Hammers, but the
info I have may just be my family Wulf's. His wife was Anna
Wulf. Jan in Omaha
